If a train ticket was purchased in another country but is valid for a train departing from a railway station in Ukraine, the Ukrainian railway ticket office will mark the ticket as cancelled and release the reserved seats for resale.
The ticket will also include a note confirming that the seats have been returned to general sale. The passenger will receive either the ticket with the cancellation mark or an electronically issued auxiliary refund form, which must be presented to obtain a refund in the country where the ticket was originally purchased.
