Whether you need to print your electronic ticket depends on the specific route and whether the ticket contains a QR code. For most domestic journeys, the electronic version of the ticket on your smartphone is sufficient. However, some international routes require a paper ticket. In some cases, instead of a valid ticket, you may only receive an order confirmation, which must be exchanged for a ticket at a railway ticket office.
Please note that once this is done, the ticket will be moved to the archive, and the QR code on the electronic ticket will become invalid. The conductor will not be able to verify it using their scanning device. Only the ticket printed at a railway ticket office will be valid. This restriction is in place to help prevent fraud.
