Our Unique New Service: Train Ticket Tracking

You have probably found more than once that the tickets you need are not available at the railway ticket office or online! Some of you may even have tried buying train tickets from touts, knowing full well the risk that you could be cheated, your trip could fall through and the money you spent would never come back! The shortage of train tickets on popular routes is no secret to anyone, especially during holidays, the summer season or simply at weekends!

The recent return of named train tickets has done nothing to solve the shortage. So what can you do if you are unable to plan your trip in advance?

Our answer is the train ticket tracking system! Many people probably know that tickets become available in a number of situations: an extra train is added or new carriages are attached to an existing train, someone returns tickets they bought in advance, or seats reserved for civil servants are released. In other words, even when tickets are in short supply, it is always possible to travel where you need to go, but not everyone has the time or the inclination to keep checking ticket availability online (let alone at Ukrzaliznytsia ticket offices).

Our train ticket tracking system will help you with this. All you need to do is submit a request and buy the tickets in time. So how does the ticket tracking system work?

When you find that the tickets you need are not available, you submit a tracking request. You can specify a number of parameters: choose suitable trains from the timetable, the carriage type and seats, a maximum price and much more, so that the tickets found match your needs as closely as possible. Once the request is submitted, the system starts searching for tickets that meet your criteria, repeating the search every 10 minutes. Just imagine how long it would take if you did this yourself by hand.

As soon as the system finds suitable tickets, they are held for you and an SMS is sent to your mobile phone saying that you can buy them within 90 minutes of the hold being placed. When you open your request and click the pay button, you will see how much of the original 60 minutes you have left. Entering your details and paying for the order takes just 5–10 minutes.

If the time runs out and the order has not been paid for, its status changes to “Declined”, and you will need to submit a new request to continue tracking tickets.

Most importantly, the tracking system lets you search for train tickets not only when there are none at all for the dates and routes you need, but also when you are not happy with the details, such as the departure time, only luxury or seated carriages being available, or only inconvenient upper or side berths.
