Ukrzaliznytsia has extended its advance ticket sales period from 30 to 45 days, and New Year tickets are already on sale

Tickets are already being sold for travel up to and including 2 January 2015. Notably, tickets are on sale for domestic trains, except trains from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as Intercity+ trains.
On average, during the New Year holidays Ukrzaliznytsia is offering passengers more than 55,000 seats a day on 99 domestic trains, excluding the Crimean, Donetsk and Luhansk directions.
Ukrzaliznytsia is studying passenger demand and will schedule additional trains on the most popular routes if necessary. For example, an additional train, No. 210/209 Mykolaiv - Kyiv, has already been scheduled and will run from 27 November to 22 December. It will depart from Mykolaiv on Thursdays and Sundays, and from Kyiv on Mondays and Fridays. The possibility of extending its service through the New Year holidays is being considered.
