A trip on the Haivoron narrow-gauge railway

A trip on the Haivoron narrow-gauge railway

The spring and summer season of tourist trips on the Haivoron narrow-gauge railway begins on 23 March 2024.

Narrow-gauge railways, with a track width of 750 mm, were built in the 19th century by sugar factory owners to carry workers and goods. They cost four times less than standard 1520 mm railways.

Today the Haivoron narrow-gauge railway is a unique historic landmark and a great way to spend an interesting weekend. The landscapes of Podillia, a ride on vintage transport and photo shoots with steam locomotives promise unforgettable moments.

Tickets for the retro trains on the Haivoron - Bershad - Haivoron and Haivoron - Khashchuvate - Haivoron routes are already available at station ticket offices.

For passengers' convenience, Kyiv-Haivoron-Kyiv and Lviv-Haivoron-Lviv through carriages will be provided. Through tickets can also be bought via the online ticket service AnyTrain!
