Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that sales have opened for 52 of the 93 trains in the new timetable, which takes effect on 12 December 2021. The new timetable includes 19 new trains, and another 49 trains will be made faster.
Tickets for all trains in the new timetable will go on sale by the end of November.
Notable new routes include train No. 57/58-59/60 Kyiv – Yaremche, Chop, with better connections for Chortkiv, Zalishchyky and Horodenka and morning arrivals both at Yaremche and in the capital. Also worth mentioning are the year-round branded train No. 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv at a lower fare than the old timetable's train No. 243/244 Kyiv – Rakhiv, and the fast train No. 52/51 Kyiv – Kherson, made up entirely of convertible carriages.
