How to get to Kraków Airport from Ukraine

There is currently no direct train from Ukraine to Kraków. You change in Przemyśl: a Ukrainian train to the border, a Polish Intercity to Kraków, then the airport rail link.

  1. Train to Przemyśl

    • up to 6 trains a day
    • ≈8 h

    Six trains a day run from Kyiv to Przemyśl; the fastest, Intercity+, take about 8 hours, and from Lviv between one and two and a half hours. Ukrainian checks are done on board and Polish control in a hall at Przemyśl station.

  2. Przemyśl to Kraków

    • 2 h 20 min – 2 h 40 min

    Direct PKP Intercity trains from Przemyśl to Kraków Główny take 2 h 20 min to 2 h 40 min. The first leaves early in the morning and the last around 20:00.

  3. Station to terminal

    Koleje Małopolskie trains run from Kraków Główny to Kraków Lotnisko roughly every half hour and take 17 minutes. City buses 209 and 300, and the night bus 902, are alternatives. A 60-minute city bus ticket costs 8 PLN at machines in the terminal and at the stop. A taxi to the centre takes 25–40 minutes.
