Before the train arrives at the platform, station staff announce the train number, destination, the side from which the car numbering begins (for example, "car numbering starts from the east or west side of the station"), and the platform track number.
For passengers' convenience, each railcar has its own number displayed on an information board next to the entrance door. The same board usually includes a train formation diagram indicating the direction of the car numbering.
