Before the train is presented for boarding and during boarding, the train attendant must:

• ensure the safe boarding of passengers;
• assist passengers who require help during boarding;
• verify that passengers occupy the seats indicated on their travel tickets.

Boarding is not permitted if:

• the passenger does not have a travel ticket;
• the passenger does not present an identity document when it is required;
• the passenger traveling with a discounted ticket does not present a document confirming eligibility for the discount;
• the travel ticket is invalid or has been issued in violation of the established rules.
