If a coach is detached due to a technical malfunction, the presence of passengers with contagious or hazardous illnesses, or for any other reason that prevents the coach from continuing its journey, the train manager must accommodate the affected passengers in available seats in other coaches of the same train, including coaches of a higher category if necessary.
If a train is cancelled or replaced with a train of a different category at the originating (turnaround) station or while en route, the train manager and the station manager must arrange for passengers to transfer to the coaches of another train.
